Drosera madagascariensis, commonly known as the Madagascar Sundew, is a fascinating and unusual carnivorous plant native to Madagascar and parts of tropical Africa.
This species is a tall, upright-growing sundew, producing slender stems covered with numerous narrow leaves. Each leaf is armed with sticky, glandular tentacles that glisten in the light and trap small insects.
Unlike the compact rosette forming sundews, D. madagascariensis develops a more upright, almost shrubby appearance, making it a particularly interesting species for collectors looking for something different.
