Sarracenia rubra ssp. alabamensis, commonly known as the Alabama canebrake pitcher-plant, is an endangered carnivorous plant endemic to a small area of central Alabama. It produces two types of pitchers, with the summer pitchers being taller and larger than the spring pitchers. The plant's existence is threatened by habitat loss and poaching, making it one of the rarest pitcher plants in the wild.
